College Attended: University of Notre Dame

College Honors: 3-year football letterman; All-American Guard 1941. (miliarty service interrupted college career)

Professional Athletic Background: Played with Green Bay Packers as an offensive lineman in 1945.

Coaching Experience: Backfield coach at Notre Dame 1946-1951; head coach at Indiana University 1952-1956 with a record of 13-32; assistant coach at Notre Dame 1957-1958; assistant coach at Purdue University 1959-1964; retired from coaching in 1964.

Coaching Honors: Head coach for the North in North-South College All-Star Classic in Miami, FL, 1954.

Special Recognition: During WW II, served in US Navy as a PT boat commander in the Pacific; was awarded a Silver Star; a Presidential Citation, and 3 battle stars.

Coach Crimmins passed away March 19, 1993.
