Coaching Experience:  Assistant football coach at Hamilton Southeastern 1978-1979; head football coach at Tri-County 1980-1981, South Putnam 1982-1984, Danville 1985-1988, Pike 1989-1990, Evansville F. J. Reitz 1991-2000, and Columbus East 2001-present, with a career record of 238-129.

Coaching Honors:  Assistant All-Star coach 1986, 1992 and South All-Star head coach 2000; Ball State Coach of the Year 2004, 2008, 2011; Indianapolis Colts Class 4A Coach of the Year 2008; U.S. Army All-American Game assistant coach 2012; 12 conference titles; 9 Sectional titles 1986, 1992, 1999, 2004, 2006-2008, 2011, 2012; 7 Regional titles 1986, 1992, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2011, 2012.

Outstanding Players Coached:  Stevie Brown - HS All-American, New York Giants; Gunner Kiel - HS All-American.

Special Recognition:  In addition to coaching, currently serves as athletic director at Columbus East; became Executive Director of Indiana Football Coaches Association 2013; other offices/activities within IFCA - Assistant Executive Director; Publicity, Grid Magazine, Placement Director; golf outing; first newsletter; clinic director; UPI Board; IFCA Coaches Rating Board All-Star selection; director-elect and director; IFCA president; several committees.
