High School Honors:  Earned 7 varsity letters - 2 in football, 3 in wrestling, 2 in baseball; wrestling team captain.

College Attended:  Huntington University                       Graduated:  1975

College Honors:  Earned 12 varsity letters total in football, wrestling, and baseball; captained each team senior year; president of senior class and fraternity.

Coaching Experience:  Assistant football coach 1983-1990 at Snider High School, then head football coach 1991 to present; head coaching record of 194-32 (86%), highest winning percentage among active Indiana high school coaches; initiated wrestling program at Snider and was head wrestling coach 1976-1983 with a record of 84-6-1; assistant baseball coach 1975-1976.

Coaching Honors:  Football teams won 9 conference, 13 sectional, 7 regional, 3 semi-state championships; Class 5A State Champions 1992; Indiana nominee for AFCA National Coach of the Year Award 2008; Wishbone Coaches Association Coach of the Year 2004; Conference Coach of the Year 2008, 1998, 1997, 1994, 1992; Indiana Coach of the Year 1992; assistant All-Star coach 1993 and head coach 1997; wrestling teams won 6 invitational, 7 conference, 7 sectional, and 2 regional championships; were State Champions once and runner-up 3 times; Area Wrestling Coach of the Year 1983.

Outstanding Players Coached:  Rod Woodson, Dieter Heren, Quale Lewis, Brian Carpenter, Kelly George, Vaughn Dunbar, and John Autry, along with many others.

Special Recognition:  Has served Snider as a history teacher, business and PE teacher, Dean of Boys, and assistant to the principal; since 2009 has been Snider athletic director; inducted into Indiana Wrestling Hall of Fame 2009 and Huntington University Athletic Hall of Fame 2004; Huntington U Distinguished Alumnus Award 1983; IFCA Distinguished Service Award 1998; director of Rod Woodson Football Camp 1996-2006; director of Bergeron-Mohr Kicking Academy 1993-present; featured speaker at many state and nantional coaches clinics; served as a wrestling official 1983-2008, working 6 IHSAA state finals; member Indiana Football Coaches Association, serving as Director Elect and Director for Region III 1993-1994 and President 1997, Past Presidents Committee 1998-present, State Code of Ethics Committee 2001-present, and Region III Advisor 2008-present.
