College Honors:  Member IU Big Ten Champions 1967; played in Rose Bowl 1968, in Blue-Gray All-Star game 1969, and in Senior Bowl 1970.

Professional Athletic Background:  Signed as a free agent with Washington Redskins 1970; assistant coach for Scottish Claymores of NFL-Europe League 2001-2002; served 5 years as a scout for the Denver Broncos.

Coaching Experience:  Served as a graduate assistant at IU 1970; assistant football coach at Portage HS 1971-1972; head coach at Knox HS 1973-1974, with team going from 0-10 in 1972 to 8-2 in 1974; head coach Crown Point HS 1975, claiming Lake Suburban Conference championship; head coach at Chesterton HS 1976-1977; assistant coach at Wabash College 1978-1982, with a record of 42-3-1 and 3 final Top 10 NCAA rankings; assistant coach in Division I at Davidson, Marshall, Kansas State, Illinois, Texas, Vanderbilt, and Arizona.

Coaching Honors:  Coached in Citrus, Hall of Fame, Sun, Holiday, Liberty, Sugar, and Fiesta Bowls; won Conference Championships in Big 10, Southwest, and Big 12 Conferences.
