Coaching Experience:  Assistant football coach at Wabash College, serving as linebacker coach 1980-1982 and offensive coordinator 1983; assistant coach at Marshall University 1984-1985, at Kansas State University 1986-1988, at Virginia Military Institute 1989-1990, at Rutgers University 1991-1995, and at Indiana University 1996-2000.

Coaching Honors:  Wabash ranked 8th (8-0-1) in Nation in final poll 1980, 10th (8-1) in 1981, and 5th (10-0) in 1982. 

Outstanding Players Coached and Recruited:  Coached or recruited 18 players who have gone on to the NFL, such as Marshall's Mike Barber, Cincinnati Bengals; Rutgers' Marco Battaglia, Bengals, and Shaun O'Hara, New York Giants; IU's Antwaan Randle El, Pittsburgh Steelers; Adawale Ogunleye and Anthony Oakley, Chicago Bears; Kris Dielman, San Diego Chargers; Chris Liwienski, Minnesota Vikings; Victor Allotey, Kansas City Chiefs; and, James Broyles, St. Louis Rams.

Special Recognition:  Served as Director of IU Varsity Club 2001-2007 and in Football Operations 2008-2011; currently serves as IU's Assistant Athletic Director in Football Operations.
