High School Honors:  Scholastic All-State and All-American; All-State two years; rushed 1339 yards senior year and scored 186 points in 8 games; career points scored 411 with 3000 yards run.

College Attended:  Indiana University          Graduated:  1967

College Honors:  Played 4 years, with 3 years as starting fullback; played starting fullback in Rose Bowl 1967; played in Old Oaken Bucket Game with 155 yards rushing in 15 carries and scored the winning touchdown 1967; AP Back of the Week 1967.

Professional Athletic Background:  Played as a running back with Baltimore Colts in 1968-1969, Pittsburgh Steelers 1970, and Miami Dolphins 1971-1972.

Professional Athletic Honors:  Rookie of the Year for Baltimore Colts and NFL Runner-up NFL Rookie of the Year 1968; played played in 3 Super Bowl games - on winning Super Bowl team with Colts in 1969, 1972 undefeated and Super Bowl Champs Miami Dolphins, and the 1973 Dolphins.

Special Recognition:  Was owner of several small businesses, including Cole-Chem, a specialty chemical company; received IU's highest honor, the Zora Clevenger Award; Mitchell football field renamed Terry Cole Field in his honor in 2000.

Family:  Wife, Jill; children, Toby and Ben.

Mr. Cole passed away November 11, 2005.
