College Honors: All-State, All-Southern, and All-American Honorable Mention; played in North-South and American Bowl games; invited to East-West All-Star game in Texas; selected to Iron Arrow at U of M, the highest honor a student can achieve.

Professional Athletic Background: Drafted in fourth round by Oakland Raiders; played seven seasons with Raiders; played two years with San Francisco 49ers.

Professional Athletic Honors: Named to NFL Rookie All-Pro Team; won Vitalis Man of the Year Award for Raiders; voted Raider Lineman of the Year.

Special Recognition: Full-time lumber wholesale business, but also served as an assistant coach for Davis HS of El Macero, CA.
