High School Honors:  All-NEIC 2nd Team 1958; 6 varsity letters in football and track; captain of 1958 football team; member of NEIC Track Champions.

College Attended:  Manchester College         Graduated:  1963

College Honors:  Earned 3 letters in football.

Coaching Experience:  Assistant football coach at Garrett HS 1964-1966; head coach at Garrett 1967-1977, winning 3 NEIC Championships; career coaching record of 51-41.

Coaching Honors:  Had 2 undefeated seasons in 1969 and 1970, with 18 consecutive wins.

Outstanding Players Coached:  Tony Miller, Mike Derickson, and Dan Yarde.

Special Recognition:  Served as assistant principal at Garrett 1972-1976 while still coaching; was Athletic Director 1976-2001 at Garrett; designed and created the new Garrett HS athletic facilities prior to retiring in 2001; spent 45 years working for the Garrett-Keyser-Butler School District; new athletic blockhouse was dedicated in his name upon his retirement.
