College Honors:  3-year letter winner at center/linebacker; All-Conference 1965

Coaching Experience:  Scecina Memorial HS freshman coach 1966, varsity assistant coach 1967-1968, and varsity head coach 1969-1988, with a record of 82-106.

Coaching Honors:  Coached 9 Indiana All-Stars

Outstanding Players Coached:  Dan Lintner (Indiana University - City Athlete of the Year), Pete Quinn (Purdue University), and Tom Wroblewski (Notre Dame and City Athlete of the Year).

Special Recognition:  Indiana Football Coaches Association - Director-elect, Director, and All-Star Game Chairman; All-Star Game - Fundraiser, Game Director (Site selection, room and board for players and coaches, hospitality, banquet facilities); 1989 IFCA began awarding "Ken Leffler Service Award" for outstanding service to the Indiana All-Star Footbal Game, formally recognizing the time and tireless effort put forth in helping to ensure the success and continuation of the game.

Family:  Wife, Toni; children, Angie (recipient of the IFCA Hub Etchison Scholarship 1984), Karl Christopher "K.C." (1987 Indiana All-Star), Nate (1991 Indiana All-Star), and Jake; 18 grandchildren.

Coach Leffler passed away June 1, 1988.
