High School Honors:  Monogram Winner as student manager; participated in football grades 9 and 10, and was manager grades 11 and 12; participated in baseball grade 9; was basketball manager grades 9 and 10, track manager grade 10, wrestling grade 12, and golf grade 9 and 10; Senior Class President; active in a variety of clubs, drama and theatre; handled the video taping for football team senior year.

College Attended:  Indiana University, South Bend

Career Experience:  Over 30 years of radio and television coverage of high school and college sports, including football, basketball, soccer, swimming, and track; Sports Director at WSBT Stations; Sports Marketing Director at Lesea Broadcasting and WHME TV; serves as the voice of Notre Dame women's basketball and works with Notre Dame baseball.

Career Honors:  Broadcast 1983 Penn vs. Indianapolis Washington State Championship Game; broadcast State Finals for IHSAA Network 1997-2005; IHSAA Region Broadcaster of the Year 2003; All-American Football Foundation "Lindsey Nelson" Broadcaster of the Year 2007.

Special Recognition:  Serves in St. Bavo Parish; Mishawaka mayoral candidate 1987; served on Southwest Little League Board; Deputy Grand Knight of Knights of Columbus; Board of Directors for Big Brothers and Big Sisters, Red Cross, Kidney Foundation, Heartreach Michiana, and South Bend Regional Sports Commission.

Family:  Wife, Mary Carol; children, Robert, Joseph, and Mary Catherine.
