High School Honors:  Played on undefeated teams as junior and senior; reached Final 4 as a senior; All-State AP, UPI as senior - leading team tackler; named to North Indiana Conference All-Conference Team; selected to Bloomington Times Herald Top 33; North team captain for North-South All-Star Team; received Everman Mental Attitude Award at North-South All-Star game 1980; first HOF player nominated from Penn; football scholarship to Miami University, Oxford, OH.

College Attended:  Miami University, OH       Graduated:  1984

College Honors:  4-year letter winner; "Smallest Defensive Tackle in the Mid-American Conference"

Coaching Experience:  Currently head football coach for Penn HS, with a record of 25-4 at the time of his induction.

Special Recognition:  Penn's defense allowed a total of 394 rushing yards in 12 games, an average of just under 33 yards per game, during his senior year at Penn.
