College Honors: 3-year football letterman 1937-1939; Most Valuable Player 1939; member College All-Stars 1940.

Professional Athletic Background: One year member of Pittsburgh Steelers 1940 after being drafted in 6th round; member of Milwaukee Chiefs pro team, a new American League team, 1941.

Coaching Experience: Elwood, IN, 2 years as assistant coach, then head coach 1945-1959; one losing season in 12 years with a record of 72-37-4; coached at Frankfort 1959-1965 with a record of 13-4-1; coached at Marion 1966-1968; coached at Tippecanoe School Corporation (Wainwright) 1969-1975.

Coaching Honors: Elwood captured or shared 6 Central Indiana Conference titles and 3 outright titles in a 12 year period.

Coach Bykowski passed away April 1, 1985.
