High School Honors:  Class President; National Honor Society; All-Conference Football; selected to Tribune's All-Wabash Valley team as a fullback; received Danforth Award; also played baseball.

College Attended:  University of Notre Dame Graduated:  1950

College Honors:  Graduated Cum Laude; unable to pursue football due to an injury.

Coaching Experience:  Monroe, MI, 1950-1953, with 15-10 record; Terre Haute Schulte HS 1953-1960, with 52-21-2 record; Brazil, IN, HS 1960-1965, with 28-11-1 record; Terre Haute Honey Creek HS 1965-1968, with 17-10-2 record; total record of 112-51-7, with no losing seasons; also coached at Rose Hulman Institute of Technology 4 years; retired from coaching in 1969.

Coaching Honors:  Conference Champions 1966; County (City) Champions 1956-1959; while at Rose Hulman, team was CAC Champion in 1983.

Special Recognition:  Initiated entire sports program and athletic facilities at Schulte High School in 1953, coaching all sports 1953-1956; received Vigo County's prestigious Dick Martin Memorial Coaches Award 1994.
