High School Attended:  Parker HS, Chicago  Graduated:  1923

High School Honors:  Played with Division B Champions 1923; track captain 1924.

College Attended:  Monmouth College, IL     Graduated:  1928

College Honors:  Played with Illinois Conference and Midwest Conference Champs 1925-1926;  All-Conference Team 1926-1927; football captain in 1927; lettered 3 years in football, track, wrestling, and swimming; received the Norris Trophy for All-Around Athlete of the Year 1928.

Coaching Experience:  Freshman football coach at Monmouth College 1928, with a record of 8-0; head football coach at New Albany HS, with record of 107-82-9.

Coaching Honors:  Southern Indiana Athletic Conference Champions 1935; mythical State Co-Champions 1936; 1 undefeated season 1936; only 1 loss in four seasons.

Special Recognition:  One of the founders of Southern Indiana Conference in 1934; Athletic Director of New Albany High School 1954-1973; Athletic Director of the Year in Indiana 1971-1972.
