High School Honors:  3 letters in football; co-captain in 1961; earned All-American Honors; named by Gary Post Tribune to All-City Team; Chicago Tribune All-Star 1960-1961.

College Attended:  Purdue University           Graduated:  1966

College Honors:  3-year football letter winner; co-captain 1965; All-Big Ten in 1964 and 1965; selected to All-American Team by Sportswriters Association and UPI Coaches Board; played in the East-West and the Chicago Tribune All-Star Games; played in the Hula Bowl.

Professional Athletic Background:  #1 pick of the Minnesota Vikings in 1966 as a defensive tackle; played for Vikings 1966-1967; played for Atlanta Falcons 1968-1969 and New York Giants 1970-1972; member of Giants scouting staff since 1977 and currently serves as Assistant Director of College Scouting; Giants won two Super Bowls, XXI in 1986 and XXV in 1990, while he worked with personnel selection through the draft.

Special Recognition:  Inducted into Gary, Indiana Hall of Fame; 2010 induction into Purdue Intercollegiate Athletic Hall of Fame.
