College Honors:  All-Conference sophomore year at Rock Valley as defensive back; All-Conference and team captain senior year at University of Evansville.

Coaching Experience:  Assistant football coach at University of Evansville in spring of 1972, fall of 1972, and spring of 1973; assistant football coach and baseball coach at Southport HS 1973-1980; head football coach at Jimtown HS 1980-2007, with a record of 288-54; retired from coaching football in 2007.

Coaching Honors:  4 State Championships, 2 Finalists, 9 Regional Championships, 17 Sectional titles, and 18 NSC titles; 2-time North All-Star coach; Region 2 Coach of the Year numerous times.

Special Recognition:  Inducted into University of Evansville Hall of Fame; member of Indiana Football Coaches Association for 32 years; Region 2 Director 3 times, All-Star Chairman 2 times, and Region 2 Advisor the past 13 years; original member of the rating board and original member of the IFCA Ethics Committee; has been an IHSAA baseball umpire for more than 20 years, working two state tournament championships; has also umpired in sectionals, regionals, and semi-states.
