High School Honors:  Lettered 3 years in football; Boys State Delegate; member of various clubs; also played basketball and baseball.

College Attended:  University of Louisville   Graduated:  1960

College Honors:  Played football 1965-1966; quarterback of Sun Bowl Champions in 1958.

Professional Career:  Officiated 30 years - KFOF 5 years, Missouri Valley Conference 2 years, IHSAA Official 5 years, Big Ten Conference 10 years, Rose Bowl official in 1977; NFL line judge #51 16 years; officiated 10 NFL playoffs and 2 Pro Bowls.

Special Recognition:  Inducted into the University of Louisville Hall of Fame in 1986; also inducted into Kentucky HS Hall of Fame; mayor of Jeffersonville for 8 years; public speaker at many football banquets at all levels; Executive Director of the Community Foundation of Southern Indiana.
