Coaching Experience: Coached at Chelsea, MI, HS in football, with record of 12-3-1; Flint, MI, assistant coach; Ball State University assistant coach 1958-1960; BSU head football coach for 6 years with record of 37-13-3; also coached baseball in Chelsea with record of 24-2 and in Flint with record of 63-15; head baseball coach at BSU for 12 years with record of 158-127. Coaching Honors: ICC Football Coach of the Year 4 times; District 4 football Coach of the Year 1965-1967; National Runner-up Coach of the Year 1965; team played in Grantland Rice Bowl 1965, 1967; team was undefeated in 1965; ICC Baseball Coach of the Year 3 times.
