College Honors:  Captain of football team senior year; MVP; All-Big Ten Team; Honorable Mention UP-AP All-American Team; Balfour and Gimbel Awards; was starting guard for Chicago Tribune All-Star Team.

Professional Athletic Background:  Was offensive guard and defensive linebacker for 1943 Chicago Bears Football Club Championship team.

Special Recognition:  Served in the US Navy aboard the USS Barr, surviving a torpedo attack; was a surgeon for 53 years at Reid Memorial Hospital in Richmond; served as Wayne County Coroner for several years.

Dr. Logan passed away March 27, 2004.
