College Honors:  Named school's Outstanding All-Round Athlete for 3 years; second athlete to ever be awarded a gold medal for lettering in 4 sports in 1 year.

Coaching Experience:  Football coach at Plainville, IN, 1928-1931; coached at Boonville, IN, 1931-1941; coached at Evansville Bosse HS 1941-1961.

Special Recognition:  Became Assistant IHSAA Commissioner in 1961 and developed an outstanding football official's training program; served as a certified and active football official for 13 years; awarded the Distinguished Service Award by the National High School Athletics Coaches Association; in 1974, IHSAA created the Keller Award for Mental Attitude in his honor that is given to an outstanding senior participant in Boy's Swimming and Diving State Finals.

Mr. Keller passed away December 1, 1990.
