College Attended:  Indiana University         Graduated:  1937

College Honors:  All-Big Ten Halfback 1936; 3rd Team All-American by Chicago Tribune Trophy; Most Valuable Player in Big Ten; Elected to starting quarterback position in the 1937 All-Star Game in Chicago; received Big Ten Medal, Balfour Award, and Clevenger Award in 1935; at Indiana/Purdue game, caught a pass and ran 60 yards for only score of game, Indiana 7 Purdue 0; in 1936, at Indiana/Purdue game, ran opening kick-off 90 yards (no score) and threw 3 touchdowns with the game ending in a tie; he also played basketball.

Professional Athletic Background:  Played for Detroit Lions 1937-1938.

Special Recognition:  Worked for the FBI; received Indiana University's Z.G. Clevenger Award in 1969; inducted into IU Hall of Fame 1982.

Mr. Huffman passed away March 20, 1995.
