Coaching Experience:  Coached at Venice, FL, 1968-1969; head football coach at Fort Wayne Snider 1970-1990; also coached track 1970-1975; retired from coaching in 1990 with a career record of 123-41.

Coaching Honors:  Journal Gazette Coach of the Year 1985-1986; Ball State University Alumni Coach of the Year 1986-1987 in football and 1974 in track; IFCA 100 Game Winner award 1986; won 4 SAC titles, 4 Sectional titles, 4 Regional titles, and participated in 2 Semi-States; sent 2 teams to the State Finals in football; won a State Championship in track 1974.

Outstanding Players Coached:  Vaughn Dunbar, Rod Woodson, Jon Autry, and Dieter Heren.

Special Recognition:  Athletic Director at Fort Wayne Snider since 1990; served as Indiana Football Coaches Association President in 1988.
