College Honors: Dean’s List; President's Round Table; 3-year starter in football, offense and defense; captain senior year; ICC All-Conference Offense and Defense; SAE Little All-American.

Coaching Experience: 11 years assistant coach at high school level and 7 years assistant coach at college level; 12 years as head coach at Boonville HS, with 72-50 record.

Coaching Honors: Last 10 years at Boonville had consecutive winning seasons and Big 8 Conference Championships, a Regional Championship, a Semi-state Championship, and a  State Runner-Up; Big 8 Coach of the Year; IFCA Assistant Coach North-South All-Star game.

Special Recogition: Game director of North-South Game; IFCA Board of Directors President 1973; IFCA Vice-President 1979; IFCA President 1980; Chairman of IHSAA Football Expansion Committee and UPI Coaches Board Chairman; member of University of Evansville Athletic Hall of Fame and the Boonville High School Hall of Fame; football clinician; on Board of Directors, University of Evansville Alumni Association.

Family: Children, C. David, Amy, and Tricia; grandchildren, Maggie, Sam, Mitchell, Ren, and Winnie.
