College Honors: All-Big Ten Tackle 1938; in starting lineup of 1939 All-Star Game at Chicago; Indiana University Most Valuable Player and Grantland Rice 2nd Team All-American 1938; played in first North-South College All-Star Game in Montgomery, AL, 1938 (now known as Blue-Gray Game).

Professional Athletic Background: Played with the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1939 season.

Coaching Experience: Freshman line coach at Indiana University 1940.

Special Recognition: Inducted into Indiana Wrestling Hall of Fame; received the Zora Clevenger Award 1970.

Mr. Haak passed away November 1, 1992.
