Coaching Experience:  Fort Wayne Northwood Junior HS football coach 1964-1965; Fort Wayne Snider HS 1965-1971; Jeffersonville HS 1971-1977; Fort Wayne Wayne HS 1977-1984; retired from coaching 1984 with a career coaching record of 100-95-3.

Coaching Honors:  Teams were Ft. Wayne Junior High School Champions in 1964 and Ft. Wayne Series winners in 1966; named Coach of the Year in 1966; South Central Conference Coach of the Year in 1972.

Outstanding Players Coached:  Joe Doggett and Tony Winburn, Jeffersonville; Jon Williams, Snider; Kevin Wright, Wayne.

Special Recognition:  President of Indiana Football Coaches Association in 1981; recipient of the 1997 Hub Etchison Award; one of several coaches who worked on founding the IFCA; served on the IHSAA Board of Directors 1991-1997; also served as a high school principal.
