Professional Career: Sportswriter, sports editor, and night editor for Lafayette Journal and Courier 1928-1966; began a daily sports column, "Graham Crackers," in 1933; covered area high school sports and Purdue sports, traveling coast to coast to do so.
Special Recognition: As a member of Associated Press Football Writers Association, served on selection committee for All-Americans in football and basketball; was on nominations committee of Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame; Indiana Top Sportswriter of the Year in 1960 and l966; named a Sagamore of the Wabash by Governor Branigan 1966; honorary member of John Purdue Club; member of Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity; honored by townspeople with a testimonial dinner and given a new car in 1959; charter member of the Football Writers Association of America; inducted posthumously into Indiana Journalism Hall of Fame 1988.
Mr. Graham passed away June 20, 1966.
