Coaching Experience:  Head football coach, Hudson, MI, HS 1930, with an 8-2-0 record; assistant coach, North Central College 1931 and University of Illinois 1932; head coach at St. Bede Academy, Peru, IL, 1933-1948, with a 120-18-5 record; at Marquette HS, Ottawa, IL, 1949, with a 7-2-0 record; at Quincy College, Quincy, IL, 1950-1951, with a 12-6-0 record; at Manual HS, Peoria, IL, 1952, with a 7-2-0 record; at Kankakee HS, IL, 1953, with an 8-1-0 record; and at Roger Bacon HS, Cincinnati, OH, 1954-1973, with a 150-39-8 record; career record of 312-70-13.

Coaching Honors:  Coach of the Year honors - Illinois Valley  1937, 1938, 1941-1943; Greater Cincinnati League 1957, 1967, 1973; Southwestern Ohio 1957, 1967, 1973; and National High School Coaches Athletic Association 1973; head coach Ohio All-Star North-South Game 1959, 1963, and  Southwestern Ohio All-Star East-West Game 1974; City of Richmond Nation's Most Devoted Coach Award 1973; Ohio State University winningest Coach Award 1974; Halls of Fame inductions - Ohio Football Coaches 1975; National High School Football Coaches 1976; Cincinnati High School Sports 1978; and Roger Bacon High School 1979.

Special Recognition:  Held football clinics and was a well known clinic lecturer; Roger Bacon football stadium named in his honor; a Roger Bacon memorial fund was established upon his death.
