College Honors: All-American by Sporting News; MVP Defensive Line 1972-1973; led team in tackles as a junior; played senior year with broken foot; played in East-West Shrine Game and Senior Bowl All- Star Game.

Professional Athletic Background: Defensive lineman with New York Jets 1974-1977; played with Green Bay Packers 1978-1979; retired due to a neck injury.

Special Recognition: One of founders of Central Indiana Chapter of National Football Foundation and College Football Hall of Fame; served as its President since its beginning; organization honors high school scholar-athletes with scholarships and trophies; President of Indiana NFL Players Association Chapter which is involved in community service such as shelters for abused women and nationwide rehabilitation network for retired NFL players; President of Indiana Football Foundation; owns Orthopedic & Sports Physical Therapy Center in Bloomington.
