Coaching Experience:  Assistant coach at Adams Central HS 1966-1971; head coach at Eastside HS 1972-1975 with record of 20-18; head coach Jennings County HS 1976-1979 with record of 14-26; head coach at Greencastle HS 1980-1998 with record of 114-78 and undefeated regular seasons 1985, 1991, 1995; an 84-48 win-loss in WCC and a 49-12 win-loss in Putnam County; assistant coach Greencastle HS 2001-2003, then head coach in 2004 with a record of 7-3; head coach at Hagerstown HS 2006-2010 with a 40-17 record; overall record of 195-141 with 33 years as head coach and 10 years as assistant coach.

Coaching Honors:  At Greencastle - West Central Conference Champs 1985, 1986, 1991, 1993; Sectional Champs 1990-1991; Regional Champs 1991; AP #1 Team in Class 2A 1991; Ball State Alumni Coach of the Year 1991; IFCA Region 6 Coach of the Year 1984 and 1992; IFCA South All-Star Coach 1984 and 1992; at Hagerstown - Tri Eastern Conference Champions 2006, 2008, 2010; Coach of the Year 2008 and 2010; Sectional Champions 2010.
