High School Honors:  Won letters in track, basketball, and tennis (no football); earned Regional and State honors in tennis.

College Attended:  Purdue University           Graduated:  1923

College Honors:  Won letters in football, baseball, and basketball; president of Senior Class; selected to All-State and Big 10 Conference teams in these sports.

Professional Athletic Background:  Played with Clinton, IA, Bulldogs football team and Paxton, IL, Fans basketball team.

Coaching Experience:  Coached football, basketball, and baseball under the direction of Ward Lambert and James Phelan.

Outstanding Players Coached:  “Red" Mackey, “Stretch” Murphy, and many others.

Special Recognition:   Selected in 1968 and 1969 to Who’s Who in America for Business and Life Accomplishment; Purdue University's Lambert baseball field was upgraded with a new press box and renovated stands due to the Eversman family's generosity in 1990.

Family:  Wife, Ruth; sons, George H. and Walter.

Mr. Eversman passed away December 9, 1993.
