College Attended: University of Notre Dame Graduated: 1983 College Honors: 4-year starter; 2-time All-American; captain and MVP of the 1982 Irish Squad. Professional Athletic Background: 3rd round draft pick by the Chicago Bears; played eleven years in the NFL. Professional Athletic Honors: Played on 2 Super Bowl Championship teams, Chicago Bears in 1985 and New York Giants in 1990; 4-time All-Pro; 1987 NFL Man of the Year; 1988 NFL Humanitarian of the Year. Special Recognition: Recipient of Indiana's Sagamore of the Wabash, Kentucky Colonel, and Simon Wiesenthal Awards; inducted into the Delaware County Hall of Fame; served as President and Majority Partner of Fair Oaks Farms, Inc., a primary supplier of sausage patties to McDonald's Restaurants.
